Bounce the sunbeam so it ends on the cat. Then take the scenic route: every sunny tile is +1, every flower in the sun blooms for +3.
Rocks stop the light. Light shines across ponds, but mirrors sink. Mushrooms hate the sun: −3 each. Portals teleport light to their twin, and a prism splits it both ways at once (then every cat needs sunshine).
